BURBEE - Mary J. (nee Dengate) Age 94, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY. Died January. 31, 2012 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing facility. Mary was born December 23, 1917 in Lititz, PA.; daughter of the late Francis and Mary (McMahon) Dengate. She was employed as a legal Secretary for the former Cohen, Swados and Brett Law Firm retiring in the late 1970's. Mary was a very active member of St. John de LaSalle R.C. Church. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband John D. Burbee on February 2, 2009 and her brothers, Francis Dengate and William Dengate. She is survived by a sister, Margaret "Peg" (Camille) Fournier and many nieces & nephews. The family would like to thank Mr. Jay Brett, Mr. William Hunt, and Mr. Thomas Denn for their support. The family would also like to thank the staff at Alterra and Our Lady of Peace for care and support in Mary's later years. Friends may call Thursday February 9, 2012 from 4-9 PM at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Prayers will be recited Friday 10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. John de LaSalle R.C. Church. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven R.C. Cemetery, Town of Lewiston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John de LaSalle R.C. Church, Niagara Falls, NY.
