    Mary Ann Long, 70, of Chattanooga, Tenn. died on Monday, October 26, 2009, at Parkridge Medical Center.
    She was a lifetime resident of Chattanooga, and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. Long; parents, Percy and Lela B. Croft; three brothers, Robert K. Croft, Thomas L. Croft and William O. Croft. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah A. (Duane) Johns, of Decatur, Tn., Patricia C. (Barry) Malone, of Chattanooga, Sandra G. Scoggins, of Chattanooga and Janet L. (Charles) Lewis, of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Michelle Sledge, Nicole Malone, Zachary Scoggins, Jacob Scoggins, Evan Lewis and Ryan Lewis; other surviving relatives are one brother, James A. Croft; sisters-in-law, Sharon Croft and Donna Croft, all of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David Cobb officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park with Duane Johns, Barry Malone, Charles Lewis, James Croft, Zachary Scoggins, Jacob Scoggins, Evan Lewis and Ryan Lewis serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday up to the hour of service at the funeral home. The family would like to give heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of 4-West, with special thanks to Sherry, Mary and Annie. Memorial contribution can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tn 38105. Turner Funeral Home Inc., Highway 58 Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
