Mary Crocker, Samuel Crocker and Sarah Parker, granddaughter of Deacon Job Crocker, b. Barnstable 8 Apr 1700, m. [first child b. 1721] Isaac Howland. He died 8 Nov 1751. She was the Mary Howland Jr. who married 1754 Samuel Bacon. Will of Hannah (Taylor) Crocker, 2nd wife of Deacon Job Crocker, dated 10 Jul 1739, names "'son-in law' [step-son] Samuel Crocker [Mary's father]" [note: brackets verbatim from source] and gave a silver spoon to "her step-granddaughter Mary, wife of Isaac Howland" [note: italics in source - presumably the text from the will, while the "step-granddaughter" was the author's added comment].
[Note: the article adds that Mary Howland Sr. was daughter of Job Crocker by his 2nd wife, so step-sister to Mary jr.'s father. She married Isaac Howland's first cousin, once removed, John Howland.]
