1841 census from Ramsey, Huntingdonshire lists her age as 45 (Note: the 1 841census rounded the age to the nearest 5/0). 1851 census lists her a ge as 56, states that she was the wife of Thomas Maynard, was born in Rams ey, and her congregation was "M" (= Methodist?). Both census listings ind icate they lived in the parish of Ramsey which lies west of the town riv er to Field Gate, although the 1851 census took in a larger area. Parish records for St. Thomas of Canterbury in Ramsey show that she was ba ptized on Nov 30, 1800 at age 5 years and list her parents as John and Sus anna Butcher. She may also be a sister to Jane Jemima Butcher who marri ed William Lant on Nov 29, 1824. Thomas and Mary Maynard were the witness es at the wedding.
