Some researchers claim that this Mary Blair married a Crawford, then second, John Poage, but there is contradictory evidence to suggest that the wife of John Poage was Mary Crawford. The birth and marriage dates seem to be much too short to have this Mary married twice by 1751, when the marriage to John Poage is supposed to have happened in Augusta County, Virginia.
