Serjeantson). ?M Adrian STOKES was born 25nov1873, son of Whitley and Mary Eliza (IGI, from India Office Ecclesiastical returns, Bengal presidency) ?M William Henry STOKES, Adm. at Pembroke (college?) oct 1893, eldest (!) son of Whitley (B.A., Trinity College Dublin 1852) LLD, barrister-at-law of 15 Grenville Place, London. William Henry was born 28 may 1874 at Simla, educated at Haileybury, Matric. Michs. 1893, B.A. 1897. He went abroad and had a ranch, according to Rev. Adrian Stokes (from Alumni Cantabrigienses, compiled by J. A. Venn (1951)). William Henry was born 28 may 1874, son of Whitley and Mary Eliza (Latter Day Saints). The date clashes with the more credible birth date of Adrian.
