In 1871 Susan Bazell/Bazeley (widow ?1809 Ellesmere, Shrops., independent), Harriet (unm., 1803 Dover) and Maria Bazely (unm, 1806 Dover, householder) the Stokes family, Mary E. (1842 Delhi, ?widow), Mary S. H. (1866 Simla), Annie M. (1870 Simla), lodged at Marylebone (census). In 1891 Harriet Bagdy/Bazeley (1803 Dover), visitor Mary Stokes (1867 Smila, India), grandniece Annie Stokes (1871 Smila), all living on own means, were at Dover, Kent (census); Harriet was probably aunt of Mary Bazeley; it is not clear why Mary was not a grandniece. In 1901 the Stokes children (b. India) Maive (1867), Annie (1871) and Frank (1880) and 2 servants were at 15 Grenville Pl., Kensington (census).
