Mary Barstow, daughter of William of Dedham, married Joseph Silvester by 1664. "'Mary Bairstow' who m. Boston 14 May 1656 William Ingram [BVR 57] has not been placed in any of these Barstow families; the surname may have been corrupted in transcription."^[5]

   Ingraham married. May 14, 1656, Mary Barstow,
   who died November 16, 1708, daughter
   of William Barstow, of Dedham. They moved
   to Stonington, Connecticut, and both were
   buried in the Wequequock cemetery of that
   town. He was a cooper by trade. He was
   admitted a freeman in 1674. Children, born
   at Rehoboth : William, February 9, 1657, died
   young; William, January 2], 1658, mentioned
   below; Jeremiah, January 20, 1664; Mary,
   June 26, 1666;"

   ... The above deed was contributed by Mr. [Richard LeBaron] Bowen ... after the short article by Dr. Nichols (vol. 21, p. 190) was received, and confirms the latter's conclusion that William Ingraham (as well as Jarrett) was son of Richard. This William married at Boston, 14 May 1656, Mary Bairstow.'
