I have not been able to ascertain Lenah's parents, nor to find her in the 1880 census. It is possible that Arrasmith was not her maiden name. Based on the following obituary, I believe Lena's mother may have been a Moffett. "Margaret Jones Ralls: Bath County News-Outlook Thursday, December 8, 1938. Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Jones Ralls, wife of James O. Ralls, wealthy Sharpsburg farmer and stock breeder, were held at the residence near Sharpsburg Sunday afternoon, December 4, conducted by the Rev. T. J. Ray, pastor of the Sharpsburg Presbyterian church, and the Rev. E. C. Crouch. Interment was in the family lot in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Ralls passed away at her home Friday afternoon, December 2, after a few days' illness of bronchial pneumonia... A daughter of the late Robert Comingo and Mary Moffett Jones, she was born in Sharpsburg June 21, 1884. Her childhood, following the death of her parents, which occurred at an early age, was spent at Mt. Sterling under the care of her maternal grandparents, she lived at Sharpsburg with her cousin, Mrs. James W. Shankland, and Mr. Shankland, now of Owingsville, until her marriage to Mr. Ralls February 18, 1900. She came of pioneer families, who traced their lineage back to Revolutionary times, and who were among the early settlers in this part of Kentucky. It was one of her grandparents, in the Moffett line, who donated the land on which Old Springfield church now stands, in the early 1790's. Besides her husband and her cousin, Mrs. Shankland, she is survived only by a few distant relatives." {<http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~warner/bath-paper-obits.htm#S>} NOTE: I read this to mean that Margaret's parents were Robert Comingo Jones and Mary Moffett. This implies that Lenah had no living close relatives either, as of 1938. References
