Mary [Aldridge] Kurtz may have re-married after the death of her husband Jacob Kurtz. There is a Mary Patterson, age 64 [born abt. 1786] living with Mary's son Peter Kurtz in the 1850 Census that could possibly be this Mary, but additional research is needed to determine if this is the same Mary.
