The remarriage and death of Mary are assumed from the following facts:

The christening of George Noble on Apr 5 1821 gives Mary JOLLY as his mother. This is an obvious error, because the rest of the NOBLE children have Mary DOWNING as the mother. Therefore Mary JOLLY must have some connection to cause the error.

The death of Mary JOLLY in 1831 lists her as "Mary JOLLY, widow, NOBLE, widow, ALDRIDGE spinster". This is another error, brought about by the connection with the Nobles. The marriage of Mary DOWNING, widow, to Isaac JOLLY in 1798 shows that she was Mary JOLLY, widow, DOWNING, widow, ALDRIDGE, spinster". Her daughter Mary DOWNING married Thomas NOBLE, and it is reasonable to assume that after the death of Isaac she lived with the Nobles, which was the cause of the error.
