'Bub' Gridley of Pennellville died Wednesday after a brief illness. He owned and operated a dairy farm in Pennellville, retiring five years ago. Mr. Gridley was a past master of Central Square Masonic Lodge 622, a member of Scottish Rite Consistory, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Wango Grotto, a past patron and past grand lecturer of Elizabeth Caldwell Chapter 141, Order of the Eastern Star, a past member of Hastings Town Board and Central Square School Board and a member of Central Square United Methodist Church. Mr. Gridley is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vera Durgee Gridley; a daughter, Mrs. Sally Bendura of Pennellville; two sons, Marvin C. of Muncie, Ind. and Spencer I. of Sidney; a sister, Mrs. Harriette G. Cusack of Jupiter, Fla; a brother, William of Pennellville; and eight grandchildren. Private services will be tomorrow at Hilton Funeral Home, Brewerton. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square. References
