m. Bef 1831
Facts and Events
Occupation: He was a farmer who owned a sizeable farm in Pike Co. Alabama with an overseer, property worth $6,000 and personal estate of $40,000 in 1860 but after the Civil War was reduced to property valued @@ $200 and personal estate value of $200. On the 1860 census the value of personal estate looks questionable but note the figure "4" in the column of dwelling house numbers for clarification.
