MIGRATION: To South Australia with Henry's family. Henry wrote"The sore trials we have had with Father & Mother are beyondbelief. Being all together in one Cabin we have all theirmuddle in addition to our own - then the sickness and tedium ofthe voyage naturally makes people peevish. Mother during allher long illness in which dear C attended upon her as a daughterwould, was so snappish, so ungrateful and exacting it wasmournful." On another occasion he added - "I had once tointerfere when she wanted to read the Bible to the sailors whenthey were at work. She now has a few of the passengers to whomshe reads & I suppose preaches ......"
