MARTHA2 LORD (Nathan1) was born say 1667 and died before 6 December 1728, when her third husband’s marriage intentions were published.248 She married first, by 14 December 1687 when they were presented for fornication, MOSES LITTLEFIELD of Wells.249 Moses was the son of Thomas and Ruth (—) Littlefield, 250 and died in Wells on 1 April 1714.251 Moses’s father, Thomas Littlefield, met an “untimely death” with Samuel Lord in 1689.252 Martha married second, at Berwick on 22 January 1715/6, JOHN ABBOTT,253 son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Green) Abbott.254 He had married first at Kittery on 3 January 1694, Abigail Nason, daughter of Jonathan and Sarah (Jenkins) Nason.255 John Abbott died before 25 May 1719 when his widow Martha took the administration of his estate.256 Martha married third, in Berwick on 18 August 1720, ALEXANDER TAYLOR.257
