Obit: To the numerous list of witnesses that, "Jesus can make a dying bed feel soft as downy pillows are," may be added that of Mrs. Martha McKee, daughter of Thomas anbd Ann Lansdale, who departed this life, January 17th, 1839. Sister McKee lived a consistent and acceptable member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for more than eighteen years; and died in full prospect of immortality and eternal life, leaving a companion and four children to mourn their loss, and rejoice at her "gain". "Precious in the sight of the Lord, is the death of his saints."
