Last Will and Testament of John McKee In the name of God Amen. I John McKee of Eel River Township in the County of Allen and State of Indiana being of sound mind and memory blessed be Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament. I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary McKee all my real estate and also all my personal property of every description for the term of eight years during which time I wish her to settle all my business, collect all my dues and pay all just claims against me and pay seventy-five dollars towards building a Meeting House at or near where Wesley Chapel now stands for the use of the M.E. Church,, this to be done without embenefont as to time. And at this expiration of eight years I want her to sell all the real estate in Section Twenty, Township Thirty-Two, North of Range Eleven East and she is to give twenty-f'ive dollars of said money the proceeds of the above described land towards repairing or building a parsonage on this circuit and the remainder of the money of above named sale to be equally divided among my heirs. And all my real estate lying in Section Twenty-one, Township 32 North of Range Eleven East in Allen County I wish my wife to have and to hold during her natural life. Also all the personal property that may be on hand at that time. Provided however that if said Mary, my wife, should die before the youngest heirs are of age, I wish the minor heirs supported and educated out of my estate without interfering with their regular dividend. My personal and real estate when she dies shall fall to my heirs except ten dollars I want to be paid to the Ft. Wayne Female College and $100 dollars to Missionary Society of the M.E. Church. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affix my seal this 6 day of March, 1854. John McKee Residence Allen County State of Indiana Attest: William M. Lansdale Joseph Johnston
