Surnames: KERR,

I am looking for a Martha KERR, born about 1753 in Iredell County, North Carolina, which I believe was once a part of Rowan County. She married a Gilbraith NEILL on Nov. 15, 1774. Her father was a William KERR, though have no info on him. Any additional information would be appreciated. Thanks. Walter.

I also have a Martha Kerr - however I have her birthdate as 1749 in Pennsylvania and she is supposed to be buried in Iredell Co NC - now Rowan Co, NC

She married Gilbraith Neill - I have his ancestry and their descendents through William/Sarah-John Raper/William Neill Raper/Myrtle Raper-William Rufus Brown.

I was given a handdone genealogy which is probably 30 years old that traces the Neill family back to John O'Neill = Tyrone Co Ulster Ireland. This is not the Hugh O'Neill which most of the Neills come from but perhaps - real speculative here - French John his brother.

I also have the pension application papers (Rev. War Pension) = actually transcriptions - for the following: Gilbraith Neill Andrew Neill Martha Neil

Do you have all this information or is this new? I am willing to share what I have - hopefully you have some data for me also.
