Long Island Genealogy; Bunker, pg 220 - Martha m Nathaniel Coles, s/o Robert Coles; but on pg 338, Ms. Bunker says Martha m the son of Nathaniel Coles.

Other records agree that Nathaniel was the son of Robert Coles. (R. G. Clarke)

Martha is mentioned as being deceased in her father's 1683 Will. See transcription of Will on this site. My source for the d/o/d used Quaker dating 16 Feb 1668/1669 for her death. I would have preferred to see it with the number of the month on both Martha's record and her son's record. Perhaps later I will find it. But apparently she died just soon after giving birth to her only child. Her husband Nathaniel married again.
