From Jerry Gross' research: Martha Champion Jackson and her husband, George Gordon Banks are 2nd cousins, once removed. Their common ancestors are Thomas Champion and Elizabeth Hunter. Elizabeth Jane Champion's (Martha's mother) great grandfather is the brother of George Gordon Banks' grandmother, Elizabeth Champion who married Richard Banks.
