Daniel Stone m. (2) 27 Nov 1761 Mrs. Martha (Howe) Nichols-Goddard, d/o Samuel Howe and Martha Goodale, b. Framingham about 1706 [see note ], widow of Joseph Nichols of Framingham and of Rev. David Goddard of Leicester.

  3. One would expect Martha to likely be the first daughter of Samuel's marriage to Martha, which took place in Sep 1704. Bartlett estimates her birth about 1706 but the birth of brother Joseph is recorded in summer 1706 making that, perhaps, not so likely as, say, 1708, or even 1710, which still allows her to be of an appropriate age to marry around 1730.
