On her marriage record, her father's name is listed simply as "Bringard" and her mother's as unknown. In the 1880 census, there is a Rosa Bringard in Detroit, who would be the right age, daughter of the 37-year-old "Marry" who is listed as "wife" but there is no husband listed. Is she perhaps the daughter of Joseph/Xavier and Mary Josephine (Chapoton) Bringard, who are buried in Assumption Grotto Cemetery?
