Blackman Kight called Martha "Granny" butMartha was thought to be an aunt of Emmer V. and brother Joseph.Emmer and Joseph's father was James E. Blackman who is foundwith wife Mary in the 1860 Pike county, AL census. This Marywas born in GA in 1838. There is also a Mary Dickey who marriedFranklin H. Elkins in 1894. This Mary has a relationship to theKite family. Is this really Mary Alexander, dau of Hiram? Couldshe have first married a Blackman, then a Dickey, then F. H.Elkins?
