Killed when a horse threw him and broke his neck. When he died he was married to his second or third wife, Martha Ann Tinsley, and they had a 9 month old daughter, Nancy. In the Beersheba Church minutes, he is listed as joining the church by Letter with his wife Marey (Mary) in 1842.
