Listed on page 80 of the Jelsa Bygdabok as a child and on page 252 and 416 as a wife and mother. She was married on the island of Ombo. She came to America about 1863 and lived with her son and family for about 20 years in the USA after her husband died. She is remembered as being very aged, sitting quietly in her rocker by the stove, knitting or reading her Bible. She died peacefully at the Marvick home, Nettle Creek, Ill., and was buried at Lisbon, Ill.
