MARSHALL YATES Graveside services for Marshall E. Yates, 78, Springfield, will be at 3 pm Monday in White Chapel Cemetery. Burial will be under the direction of Ralph Thieme. Mr. Yates died at 12:25 am Saturday in Cox Medical Center North after a short illness. A local resident most of his life, he was a meatcutter for many years, several at Hall's Super Market. Survivors include his wife, Florene; a daughter, Rose Prosser, Springfield; a brother, Gordon, Springfield; two sisters, Katherine Duncan and Mona, both of Springfield; a grandchild; and a great grandchild. The body will be at the funeral home after 5 pm today. The casket will be closed after 9 pm today.
