Obituary: 9/8/1931 Daily News, Springfield, MO. Frank E. Yates, 45, died at home at 901 West Kerney Street Tuesday. He had been ill a long while. He is survived by his wife Edna Yates; two daughters, Miss Irene Yates, 643 West Central Street, and Miss Kathrine Yates 1107 West Nichlos Street; three sons, Marshall, David and Gordon Yates all of Springfield; two step daughters, Genevieve and Gulin Welch, one stepson Harold Welch; his mother O.W. Yates; four sisters, Mrs. Tom Graves and Mrs. P. T. Rummage of Claremore, Okla. and Mrs. David Tiller and Mrs. Pruitt of Kansas City; and four brothers, W.O. Yates of Alabama and Lemuel, Leyton and Joe Yates of Claremore, Okla. The body was sent last night to Claremore, Okla. by the Floyd Fox funeral home. Funeral services will be held in Claremore this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, followed by burial in a cemetery there.
