MARGERY OXLEY
Margery Miriam Oxley, 72, of Home Acres Trailer Court, Nevada, died Saturday Nov . 29, 1980 at Story County Hospital.
She was born May 12, 1908 in rural Nevada, the daughter of Ray and Mary Bundy Tillotson. She attended the Center Public School. On Oct. 5, 1926 she married Sam Owen Oxley. The couple lived all of their married life in the Nevada area.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Howard of Nevada and Donald of Rhodes: seven daughters, Kathryn Amenson of Roland, Wanda Barnett of Phoenix, Ariz., Joan Banks of McCallsburg, Maxine Fry of Colo, Janice Dobson of Nevada, Pauline Breer of Fernald, and Nancy Weatherman of Cambridge, one brother, Donald Tillotson of Nevada; two sisters, Elva Kirkpatrick of Phoenix and Gladys Darby of National City, Calif., a stepmother, Mrs. Ed Collins of Eldora; 34 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, one son, Donald, and one sister, Eva Zook.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, with Dr. William Bass, 1st Christian Church, Nevada, officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens near Nevada.
The body will lie in state at the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Garden, rural Nevada.
Marjorie Miriam Oxley was born May 12, 1908, in rural Nevada to Ray and Mary (Bundy) Tillotson. She was educated in the Center Country School near Nevada. On Oct. 5, 1926, she married Sam Owen Oxley. She was a life-time resident of the Nevada community.
