Marjorie Evelyn Crandall 1920-2004 "The Janesville Gazette", Janesville, Wisconsin, Monday, Jan 19, 2004. JANESVILLE/INDIANA/MILTON & MADISON- Marjorie Evelyn Crandall, age 83, died at Cedar Crest, Janesville, on Jan. 13, 2004. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on Sept. 7, 1920, daughter of George H. and Edna (Hurlbert) Crandall. She was a longtime resident of Milton and Madison, WI. She graduated from Milton College and continued on in post-graduate work at the UW Madison, where she worked as a science research technician. She was a member of Seventh Day Baptist Church in Milton. She was a quiet and knowledgeable person, a worldwide traveler, a lover of nature and of all living things. Survivors are a sister, Doris Haldiman of Janesville, formerly of White Fish Bay, WI; a brother, Dr. George H. Crandall Jr. of Lake Oswego, OR; a sister, Mary (Victor) Anderson of Reno, NV; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004 at Cedar Crest Chapel in Janesville. Albrecht Funeral Home of Milton is handling arrangements.
