Mrs. Burr Thompson

Mrs. Burr (Marie Elizabeth K.) Thompson, 80, 1064 Willard SE, died at 6 p.m. Monday in Trumbull Memorial Hospital, following a two-day illness.
Born here, Oct. 23, 1892, she was the daughter of Alec and Lucy Latimer Kilpatrick. On May 29, 1912 she married Burr Thompson, who died Aug. 20, 1967.
A lifetime resident here, she was a member of First Baptist Church and Busy Bee Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Teresa) Gardner of Canal Fulton, Mrs. Robert (Fay) Wellington of Warren; a son, Lee E. of Champion; a brother, Joseph "Ned" of Warren; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the McFarland and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
