Marian A Bowlus Nov. 14, 1911 -- Dec. 2, 2003

Marian A Bowlus, 92, of Fremont died Tuesday at the Otterbein-Portage Val ley Nursing Center in Pemberville.

She was born in Pemberville to the now-deceased Lloyd and Nora (Fisher) Bo wlus.

Marian taught school for 38 years, retiring in 1972.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, and the St. Francis Seni or Guild, Green Springs.

She was a graduate of Bowling Green State University, Delta Kappa Gamma So ciety, the National OH and Sandusky CO Retired Teachers associations, San dusky CO Historical Society, Fremont Federation of Women and the Sandus ky CO Continuing Care Center Auxiliary.

Marian is survived by sister Patricia (Theodore) Childers of Houston, T X, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preced ed by sister Eloise Eisenhour and brothers Warren, Homer and Edward Bowlu s.

Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funer al Home.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Den nis Ladd officiating. Additional visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery.

Memorials: School of Hope or the church.
