  7. Barbara Harber interviewed on 29 August 2001 about Mary Mayer. She stated that according to Casper Harber, Mary was a widow and came over from Germany at the request of her brother the priest at Saint Aloysius at the time. She was the housekeeper and it was there that she met John Harber. John and Mary wed and he took in Harmon and Cosmas.
