Maria Croft was baptised on 15th June 1873 at Great Wymondley in Hertfordshire, daughter of Hannah Croft, formerly Waldock, and her husband John Andrew Croft. Maria appears in the 1881 census living with her maternal grandparents, James and Maria Waldock, at Great Wymondley. She has yet to be researched after 1881.
