Mrs. James Sharp Liggett died in Philadelphia yesterday. She was born in Pittsburgh and lived here until the death in 1873 of her husband who was a member of the dry goods firm of Bell and Liggett. He was connected with the Darragh and Sharp families, pioneers in the state. Mrs. Liggett left three daughters - Mrs NP Hugus of Wilkesbarre, Mrs Stella L Black of Philadelphia, and Mrs Clara Lamoreaux, wife of LT Thomas B Lamoreaux, USA.
