* Since Margaret's parentage is conjecture, Jan Winans' will should be consulted, since a mention of a daughter, Margaret is possible. Mention of a witness, William Winans of Margaret Hatfield's codicil would indicate that William was some sort of relative, though not necessarily her brother. Her son ? [Considering William & Margaret were born about a year apart, it's more likely they were brother and sister.]
