Further research has shown that the Fisher Cemetery, is located about half way between the town of Lagro, and the village of Urbana; both located in the township of Lagro, Wabash County, Indiana. The area around Urbana is where most of the Palatine pioneers of "White Creek's" research is centered. These early pioneers migrated from a cluster of tiny villages, up in the hills about 22 miles from the Rhine River. The earlier pioneers mostly migrated to eastern Ohio (Tuscarawas County). Then some of them moved on to Wabash County, to be joined by more recent migrants from the Rhineland and Switzerland.
