Margaret’s origins and maiden name have yet to be established. His first confirmed sighting is in 1659, by which time she was married to a William Harradine (sometimes also known as William Bartle) and living at Guilden Morden in Cambridgeshire.

Margaret and William appear to have had ten children baptised at Guilden Morden between 1659 and 1679, although one son died as a baby in 1666, and another daughter died in 1679. There were also other children of William Harradine baptised at Guilden Morden from 1685 onwards into the 1690s (whose mother is not named), but with the time gaps involved it is considered less likely that those children were from the same couple.

William died in February 1710. Margaret survived him by two years. She died in 1712, being buried at Guilden Morden on 9th September 1712.
