MARGARET L. KISER - Margaret "Peg" L. Kiser, 67, of Alum Bank died Mon Feb 17th, 1992, at her residence. She was born Apr 12, 1924, in Somerset, a daughter of the late William F. & Myrtle V. (Miller) Twigg. She was preceded in death by her husband John R. Kiser, Sr. who died Jan 1, 1990, a daughter Anna L. Kiser, 2 brothers, Raymond & Donald Twigg and a sister Mary Day. Surviving are 5 sons - John R. Kiser, Jr of Mineral, VA - W.Paul Kiser of Claysburg - E.Elroy Kiser - Wayne E.Emerick (?) and Brian K. Pineda (?), all of Alum Bank, PA (Bedford Co). 5 daughters - Barbara M.G. Bolen of LeMaster - Lillian V.Gohn of Alum Bank - Shirley J. Floor of Bedford - Paulette M. Taylor of Bedford RD#5 - and Barbara Lee Dodd of Fredericksburg, VA . Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, 16 great-grands, 4 brothers - Carl Twigg of FL - James Twigg of Hyndman - Leroy Twigg of Alum Bank - and Robert Twigg of OH, and 4 sisters - Elsie Merkel of Fairhope - Betty Emerick of Berlin - Dorothy Smith of Cumberland, MD - and Catherine Weyant of New Paris. Mrs Kiser was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith. Funeral services on Thurs Feb 20, at 1pm in the Harvey H.Zeigler Funeral Home in Hyndman, with the Rev. Charles Rhodes officiating. Burial in Hyndman Cemetery.
