Maggie Townsend was 11 when the photo was taken. Her father was born in Ireland and her mother in Germany. Maggie and her family (including brother Eddie and sister Emma) lived in the Riverdale part of Chicago in 1900 and 1910. Her father worked for a malt house in 1910. Maggie was not listed in the 1910 census with her family, even though she didn't marry until 1916, but I have not found where she was at the time.

Maggie married Edward Madsen about 1916, and they had one child, Robert.

Both of Maggie's parents died in 1916 as well, and in the 1920 census 4 of Maggie's siblings, Richard, Arthur, William, and Minnie, are all living with Maggie's family.

At some point after 1930 the family moved to California, where Edward died in 1959, son Robert died in 1964, and Maggie died in 1967. Maggie may have brought some of her younger siblings with her or they moved there for other reasons, as both Arthur and Minnie ended up in California as well.
