Payne, on page 137 under the file for Thomas Poe TERRELL for the War of 1812 pension application is the information that Thomas Poe TERRELL married Ann JACKSON on 4 Sept 1824 and that their oldest daughter was Margaret Jane BOYETT. This family resided first in Chesterfield District, SC where they were married. In 1833 they moved to Sumter Co., AL, and in 1844 moved to Union Co., AR. By 1858 the family was residing in Ashley Co., AR. In the pension statement Margaret Jane BOYETT stated "that she had no brother or sister, living in the State of Arkansas, and that she was married in the year 1841."
