  6. ↑ The 1850 Census says Margaret was 11 months old in June 1850. Normally, the implied birth date from the source created closest to her birth would be considered most likely accurate. However, that would give her a birth date just a few months after her sister Rhoda. More likely, she was just one month old in 1850 and the 11 months should be 1 month. This is consistent with her reported birth date in the 1900 Census. Find A Grave also gives her birth date as 1850, but it cites no sources and has other problems.
