1841 - Census: On June 6, 1841, Margaret McLean 9 (spelled Margarat in this census) (actually 12) was living with her parents, John McLean 36 and Isabella McLean 24?? and siblings: Barbara 12, Flora 7, Bella 5, Mary 3 and Samuel 1, in Portweemys (now Port Wemyss), on the Isle of Islay, Scotland. 1901 - Census: On April 15, 1901, Margaret (spelled Margret in this census) Wright 65, widowed, English (?), was living with her sister Mary McNiven 58 and her husband John McNiven 60 in Orillia Township. Source is 1901 Census of Canada.

1903 - Death and Burial: Margaret Wright 72, Housewife, married, born in Scotland, died in Orillia from diabetes on April 22, 1903. Attending physicians were Drs. J. McLean and Gilchrist.
