- ↑ "Jean Schwartz died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, in her residence at the age of77. She was born in Tiffin to Harley and Jenny Hoffman on July 13, 1928.She received her RN degree in 1949 from St. Vincent School of Nursingand was a member of its alumni. She also had been a volunteer for MobileMeals. Jean gave her heart and soul to others. Her family, grandchildrenand a great-grandchild were the love of her life. Her parents; sister,Betty; and husband, Carl H. Schwartz, preceded her in death. Survivingare her children: Barbara, Bill (Kimberly), Rick (Linda), Tom (Kaylene)and Jeff (Sue); grandchildren, Casey, Jordan, Max, Gunther, Kennedy,Samantha and Mitchell; great-grandson, Lucas; sisters, Patty Tippin,Jackie Billmaier, Becky Sharpe and Susie Folwer and special friend,Freda Perry. The family extends their gratitude for the care given toJean by Mary Ann, Elaine, Joanie, Sara and Jeff. Friends may call at theFoth-Dorfmeyer Mortuary, 3815 Sylvania Ave. (between Monroe Street andTalmadge Road), Toledo, 2-8 p.m. today, Nov. 1, 2005, where serviceswill be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2. Interment will be in OttawaHills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice ofNorthwest Ohio, Cystic Fibrosis or the charity of the donor's choice."
