    BURLINGTON — Miss Christine Graves of 4461 Friendship-Patterson Mill Road, died at 11:08 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 1999, at Alamance Health Care Center after five years of failing health and a critical illness of two weeks.

    A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Mr. Paul M. Graves and Mrs. Novella Isley Graves, both deceased. She was retired from Kayser-Roth and was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church, the Phileathea Sunday School Class and served as class secretary. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Donald (Gladys) Loy, with whom she made her home; and one brother, Mr. J. Cline Graves of Burlington. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Faye Graves Coble.

    The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday at Friendship United Methodist Church by the Rev. Alvin M. Horne, pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will be at the Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 7 to 9 this evening, and at other times at the home.
