Will of "Judah Hopkins of Harwich ... Yeoman", dated 20 Jan 1747, names wife Hannah, "my two Daughters to wit Martha Lewis and to my Daughter Martha Padock".
[Note: Judah had a daughter Martha who married 1728/9 John Paddock and a daughter Mary (or Marcy) who m. 1726 John Lewis (see, e.g., NEHGR, p. 102:52). Naming them both Martha in the will is clearly an error, but it is unknown if it is an error in the original will, or in the recorded will that is transcribed here [Barnstable Probate 8:354], or in the transcription itself (this seems likely, as one would expect two daughters named Martha to generate a comment in the accompanying text, as did Judah having two wives both named Hannah Mayo).]
