Manfred's obituary reads, "A. MANFRED VENDERLEY, 65, of 4826 Blum Road died at 6:40 p.m. Saturday in Lutheran Hospital. He had been a patient there six weeks. Mr. Venderley, a native of Allen County, resided in Fort Wayne most of his life. He retired from the Old Crown Brewery after 38 years and then was employed with Lincoln National Bank for four years. Surviving are his wife, Nola; two sons, M. Wayne and Kevin, both of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Joy Fletter of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Nancy Brunson of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Floyd and Ralph Venderley, both of Fort Wayne; and two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Meek and Mrs. Bertha Donovan, both of Fort Wayne. Services are 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mongovan & Sons Memorial Chapel and 10 a.m. in St. Charles Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral Home, with the rosary recited there at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
