This record calls this Malcom the First Seneschal of Lennox, and considering the fact that so many of his family members are named "Malcom", I would be inclined to agree... but if Malcom is the First Thane of Lennox, then there was no 4th Thane, it skipped from 3rd Thane to 5th Thane... This is an area where we really will need to put some brains on the matter. To complicate the situation, this person was originally named "II" in this record... which also inclines me to believe there were 2 Malcom Drummonds, and this is the younger... the older was not recorded in this persons' tree for reasons unknown.---Aabh

Note: Because of the potential confusion, I went and added another family (Which is the alternate family) which would place one more generation in between Malcom and the jump out of Scotland. --Aabh
