Madonna Lauth - Detroit - Madonna Goetschius Lauth, 84, died March 20, 2002 at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren, Michigan. She was born December 27, 1917 in Garrett, IN. Schooled in Michigan, she graduated from the nursing program at the University of Michigan and worked as a registered nurse. She enjoyed needle point and knitting and playing the organ. She worked in the Detroit area and retired from Cottage Hospital in Gross Point, MI. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Yvonne Lauth; a duaghter and son-in-law Lois and Bill Bartlett; eight grandchildren and four great grand-children; and sister Georgia G. Moody, of Garrett. She was predeced in death by her husband Bill Lauth in 1968; a daughter, Nancy Christensen, and a sister Marion Jean Gibson. Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr, Warren, Michigan. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. on Friday at the funerl home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, in Detroit. The Garrett Clipper
