    "Married to Walter Adrian Dumas (Born January 2, 1883 in Rockwall, Texas and died July 29, 1974 in Dallas, Texas). They were married on February 11, 1905. They had the following children: Dorothy, Mary, Virginia, Walter, John and Anna.

    Rockwall, Texas, Feb 19 - Mrs. Madge Benbrook Dumas, daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. J. T. Benbrook, and wife of W. A. Dumas of Rockwall, died of pneumonia at the family residence on Thursday. She was graduated from the Denton State Teachers' College in 1892 and taught in Rockwall High School prior to her marriage in 1905. Funeral services were conducted by Dr. S. M. Templeton, assisted by Dr. H. L. Williams of Trinity University. Active pallbearers were J. O. Wallace, Dr. Paul Snow, D. F. Snead, Charles Lindsey, H. B. Lefland and L. B. Walker. Mrs. Dumas is survived by her husband, six children and three brothers, Vernon and T. Benbrook of Seattle, Wash., and Foree Benbrook of this city. Dallas Morning News of 21 Feb 1925.
