MRS. MABEL MYERS - Sligo- Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Mabel Jane Myers, 61. of Sligo RD, from the Hawk Funeral Home. Rev. John Matthews of Pine Grove Methodist Church officiated and Interment was in the Sligo Cemetery. Mrs. Myers died suddenly Friday morning, June 10, 1966, in Clarion Hospital. Born December 18, 1904, in Piney Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Mary Ellen Ketner Over. She was married February 6, 1924 to George V. Myers, who survives. Mrs. Myers was a member of the Pine Grove Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge of Sligo. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Wilbur of Sligo RD, Duane of Forest Park, GA, and Dennis of Rimersburg; a step-son, Carl of Pulaski; a step-daughter, Mrs. Norman (Louise) Bissett, of Lowellville, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Clyde C. Over of Sligo RD 2 and Walter E. Over of New Bethlehem RD; a sister, Wilda Over of Pittsburgh; and a number of nieces and nephews. - ↑ Hawks Funeral Home, Sligo, PA.
